About nr. 2

“I see myself as a modern Homo Habilis. Between 2,2 and 1,5 million years ago these men like beings were the the first to successfully transform their surroundings towards their own needs. They were able to look at the natural world while recognizing new possibilities and functions within it. I believe we need to pick up this skill again in todays society if we want to efficiently deal with the overproduction of objects that is currently overwhelming us. Waste objects are surrounding us everyday, they have become our 'natural' environment. If we can look at lost and forgotten objects in the same way the Homo Habilis looked at natural objects, we are able to re-create them with a more unique value then objects of mass production.”
