We often film concerts or other events to help us remember them. But is this the most effective way to preserve our memories? 'Excess Harms?' is a video installation in which an Instagram video from a concert is filmed through 16 phones. By repeating the process of filming, the concert will slowly become more abstract. This new image can again awaken the memory of a concert through its abstract and suggestive nature, rather than simply replacing it.
